Period:

START 1ST MAY 2025 TO 31ST AUGUST 2025

(possible short prolongation at end of period)

No of hours per week:

Minimum hours per week 40 (maximum offered can be as much as 90 hours at peak season).

2 days off per week during May and 1 day off per week during the rest of the season.

Restaurant opening hours are from 7 am to 11 pm and staff work in shifts with some break during the day.

Pay per hour:

Minimum Euro 22.50 per hour (pre- taxes and social security).

Highly skilled candidate with verified skills at test can be offered slightly more.

Note the selected candidate will be Swedish Self Employed and earning are having approximately 37% fiscal charge.

Probationary test for selected candidates maximum 14 days are paid at Euro 22.50 per hour (inconvenience pay only for none Swedish resident candidates). Test candidate will have free travel to and from test including accommodation.

Qualifications:

Overall assessment of positive details:

  • English, communicative, spoken – verified
  • Positive to physical work
  • Experienced chef (documented)
  • Good health condition (no back problems)
  • Experience working with high volume and especially with barbecue and meat
  • Management of the kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of Scandinavian and mainly Swedish Kitchen
  • Teamwork ability

Preferred candidates’ profile

Flexible person who is fit probably and communicative. Used to teamwork.

Candidate have at least a handful of years previous experience and have worked at location with high volume demand.

Selection process:

If candidate pass interviews the next is to travel to the site and conduct the 14 days arrival probationary test period. If candidate pass the tests, the regular contract will commence.

Task:

As a MASTER CHEF, in addition to what is required from a regular chef, the candidate should possess skills of

  1. Management of the kitchen staff
  2. Knowledge of Scandinavian and mainly Swedish Kitchen

Fry meat with the right temperature under high volume demand taking into account the special request by client on how the meat shall be done. Kitchen also prepare regular dishes including the daily lunch, pizza and Thai dishes, starters and desserts.

Restaurant adjacent to camping site with large demand during summer season as it’s a popular tourist spot. The business is owned by two Swedish partners who manage the day to day operation and most staff is young mainly Swedish and Polish.
