💼 Job Overview
Join a well-established pig farm in southern Sweden, close to Trelleborg and Smygehamn. This is a hands-on job working with animals (sows and piglets), assisting in daily care, feeding, cleaning, and maintenance. Candidates should be physically fit, team-oriented, and willing to work weekends as scheduled.
💶 Pay & Hours
- Hourly Rate: €15/hour
- Weekly Hours: Minimum 40 hours (can go up to 50 hours/week)
- Shifts: Work is scheduled in shifts, including possible weekends
- Test Period: First 14 days (paid at full rate)
🧾 Employment Type: Swedish Self-Employment Model
- Expected fiscal deductions: Approx. 37% (depending on income, reduced to ~30% once residency is established)
- Support provided for registration, taxes, and legal compliance
- 14-day paid test period under probation agreement
- If successful, a long-term contract is offered (6 + 13 months)
✅ Qualifications & Skills
- Communicative level of English
- B driving license required
- Experience with pigs or other animals
- Tractor handling experience is a plus
- Maintenance/repair skills (e.g., feeding systems) are a bonus
- Physically fit and comfortable with physical labor
- Team player, yet capable of independent work
