Job Details
- Position: Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher
- Location: 5* Luxury Resort near Limerick, Ireland
- Contract type: Permanent, full-time
- Working hours: 40+ hours per week
- Shifts: Morning or afternoon shifts
- Start date: Ongoing recruitment
Salary & Benefits
- Hourly rate: €13.50 gross
- After 1 year in service: €14.80/hour gross
- Additional benefits: Service charge paid monthly
- Accommodation: Single room in on-site lodge – €125/week (deducted from salary)
- Meals on duty: Provided by employer
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Dishwasher, or Kitchen Assistant in a hotel or restaurant environment
- Communicational level of English (both spoken and understood)
- EU passport or right to work in Ireland (EU candidates only)
- References from previous employer(s) are essential
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dishwashing areas
- Cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
- Assisting chefs and kitchen team with basic prep or cleaning tasks
- Ensuring waste is handled and disposed of properly
- Supporting the smooth daily operation of the kitchen
