Under the H2B visa program we are offering job opportunities to chefs as Line Cook/Chef de Partie in the United States

Jobs are always seasonal, as H2B visa is a temporary work permit. Main destination is Florida, and the winter season from October till May, but occasionally there might be other opportunities as well. Employers in Florida are Golf&Country Clubs.

Please bear in mind, that H2B visa allows to employ “Unskilled labourer” only, that means no supervisory/management level (Sous Chef/Head Chef) available. These positions require a different type of visa, what is not available!

Position: Line Cook/Chef de partie

Hiring requirements:

  • Good command of English
  • Relevant work experience, at least 2 years

Contract lenght: winter season- from October till May

Salary: 15-17$/hour gross, overtime above 40 hours/week is 150%, 22,5-25,5$/hour, calculate your net earnings: https://us.thesalarycalculator.co.uk/hourly.php

Working hours minimum guaranteed 35 hours/week, may vary due to business needs, and may require overtime

Housing: always provided by the employer/housing company, renting fee around 480-650$/month/person in shared room (single room is NO option, as housing is extremely expensive in the US/Florida), the fee is deducted from salary bi-weekly. Transport from/to work is always provided by employer.

Pre-employment expenses: NO expenses on employees, as flight ticket+visa fee (190$) paid by employer!!
