Requirements

  • Min. 2 years’ experience as a bartender
  • Experience in 4* or 5* operations (hotel and/or cruise ships)
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Experience in ordering and inventory
  • Knowledge of inventory and revenues
  • Leadership skills
  • Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable
  • Stress tolerant
  • Familiar with a multicultural working environment
  • Able to conduct trainings
    Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional and courteous service at designated workstations in accordance with company standards and procedures
  • Ensure a continuous smooth operation in the bar
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the beverage menus
  • Prepare beverages as per company recipes and standards
  • Ensure proper stock handling and strive to reach cost targets
  • Be aware of guest’s specific needs and dietary requirements, recommending suitable alternatives
  • Assist the restaurant manager with training sessions
  • Evaluate bar waiters regularly and provide feedback to the restaurant manager, including needed disciplinary actions
  • Deal with guest complaints and report to restaurant manager
  • Notify supervisor about breakage or damage of any equipment and machinery, keeping a record/list of breakage
  • Report slow running stock items and keep expiration control of bar products
  • Assist with monthly inventories and purchase orders
  • Ensure and maintain cleanliness according to HACCP regulations
  • Ensure correct handling of all equipment and machinery
  • Duly report any potential safety hazards
    Side Tasks
  • Assist other departments as per supervisor’s instructions
  • Perform other duties as assigned, e.g. luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading
  • Participate in all safety drills and ensuring solid knowledge of designated safety role

Salary: 1900-2000€/month net
