Requirements

  • Min. 1 year’s experience in a housekeeping department
  • Experience in a 4* or 5* operations (hotel or cruise ships)
  • Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable
  • Stress tolerant

  • Have an eye for guests’ needs
    Role and Responsibilities
  • Daily clean and service up to 16 guest cabins, including turndown service and
    embarkation setup
  • Providide a professional and courteous service in accordance with company standards
  • Restock cabin amenities as required
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas as instructed by the supervisor
  • Distribute items such as gift orders to assigned cabins
  • Maintain proper storage of all linen, uniforms, supplies, and equipment
  • Knowledge of the daily programs
  • Check externally laundered linen during linen change days and report deficiencies and
    discrepancies to the supervisor
  • Carry out daily laundry duties such as washing and ironing as per instructions
  • Handle guest and crew laundry as per company standards
  • Welcome and greet guests on embarkation days
  • Perform additional duties during special events
  • Duly inform the supervisor about any guest complaints
  • Notify the supervisor of breakage and/or damage of any equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness front and back of the house according to sanitary regulations.
  • Ensure correct handling of all equipment, machinery, and chemicals
  • Report any potential safety hazards
    Side Tasks
  • Perform other assigned duties, e.g. luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading
  • Assist with monthly inventories as per the supervisor’s instructions
  • Assisting other departments as per the supervisor’s instructions
  • Participate in all safety drills and ensure solid knowledge of designated safety role

Salary: 1900-2000€/month net

Contracts: Swiss/French/Cypriot
